Feith an Cheoil Schoolof Traditional Irish
Music has been established since
September 2006 and has students ranging
from age 7-18 from local primary and
secondary schools in the Enfield and
surrounding areas of Hertfordshire and
Bedfordshire.
A grant of £1,000 has been awarded towards the annual running costs of the programme developing the musicianship and talent of Feith an Cheoil’s young members by participation in group performances, graded exams and community outreach projects.
This grant will help the group to recover and face challenges and additional costs following the Covid-19 pandemic such as extra tuition, new resources and equipment, hall hire and a life-coaching programme for teenagers to assist their mental health.
