John Dwyer, Chairman
John Dwyer took over as Chairman from John O’Neill on 1st May 2011.
John hails from Dundalk and is a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, serving as the Global Leader of the Deals business. He lives in Belsize Park with his wife, Natasha, and their two children.
John has been a Trustee of the IYF since January 2004 and has been actively involved in a number of the IYF’s fundraising activities, not least the infamous Poker night organised with Richard Corrigan.

John is Founding Partner of Circ Management LLP which is involved in Development Management and Turnkey delivery of high end property in London, see www.circllp.com.
John first got involved in the Irish Youth Foundation over 20 years ago. John is currently a Trustee of the Irish Youth Foundation having been Chairman from 2003 to 2011. A key milestone of John’s Chairmanship was the merger of the Lawlor Foundation having been introduced to Virginia Lawlor by Mary Clancy at a WIN breakfast in the Dorchester. This brought great benefit and future stability for both charities when they eventually merged a year later.
David Murray, Trustee
David has had a 30 year career in banking with ICC, AIB and AIBC. He has spent 25 years in London and has been involved in all forms of property lending, completed four major bank acquisitions and two large securitisations. Since taking early retirement at the end of 2007 David has been appointed to an advisory board of a west end agent, acts as a retained consultant for the Comer Homes Group & for Ballymore and invests in his own property developments & private equity deals.
In the late eighties, David was urged by someone to get involved with a charity that helps deprived Irish kids – he has been involved with IYF ever since.
Virginia Lawlor, Trustee
Virginia Lawlor was Chairman of the Lawlor Foundation which became part of IYF due to their similarity of objectives. She is particularly interested in Northern Ireland, education and opportunities for the young and is a psychotherapist in London.
Mary Clancy, Trustee
Mary Hatch, more generally known by her maiden name Mary Clancy, is a first generation Irish woman. Her parents emigrated from County Clare in 1948. Mary is a Director and the Company Secretary of the Clancy Group as well as being a major shareholder. Mary was chairman of the IYF for seven years remaining on the Board as Trustee. Mary is also co-founder and chairman of the Women’s Irish Network (WIN).
Richard Corrigan, Trustee
Richard Corrigan was brought up on a farm in Meath but is now based in London and is the chef owner of Corrigan Restaurants which operates Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill and Corrigan’s Mayfair in London. Bentley’s is to open The Sea Grill in Harrods in May 2012. Richard is the most recent Trustee to join The IYF board.
